Hey all,
No this is not a question asking if my old AT&T Blue Sim card will work with the new iPhone, I know that. I want to upgrade to the Organge network and buy my reserved iPhone 4 at the Apple Store tomorrow morning. I know that I must be like one of the very few people left on the old Blue network but please if anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it.
I went to a corporate AT&T store to upgrade my phone plan to one of the new plans. They said the only way I could do is it if I signed a new contract with AT&T and thus losing my very earned and overdue upgrade eligibility pricing on the new iPhone. Obviously, this is not what I want. They also said that if I go to Apple and try to buy it they will basically tell me to go home, even if I want to change my plan. I somehow don't believe this at all. What I am asking is, if anyone has upgraded to an iPhone from the Blue network before, can you do it through the normal iTunes activation process, i.e select a new plan?? Or can you change your plan at all? I am still planning to go tomorrow morning and try my luck but any assurance would be very nice.
Thanks a lot!
