I've had a network running with Macs, Pc's and IP printers for some time, all running through a netgear router and all has been fine...until about an hour ago, after installing a new printer (again IP) one of the macs has decided to drop off the network (of sorts)

all machines can see the each other including the troublesome machine BUT the Mac in question cannot browse the network despite all other machine being able to browse it

anyone got any ideas?

cheers peoples

Restarting clears a lot of network problems, but I figure that has been tried. YOu might want to disconnect the computer from the network and delete any information it has of the network (if that makes sense and no i dont know exactly how to do that if it is even the right thing to do). Reset router and restart it might also help.
