Urgent, New hard drive problem!

hi everyone I decided to upgrade my macbook pro a1150 hard drive, i connected the hard drive via usb, and made a GUID partition and installed snow leopard in it, installation went fine, it started from it via usb, but when i connect it internally, the computer doesnot recognize it, and when i swap back the old one it boots fine, please help, the heard drive is a Toshiba 500 gb
