Urgent Partition Help Needed

I have a big problem, I deleted the EFI partition whilst trying to install Vista on my MB and now I cannot remove the windows partition (it does not work anyway) because there is no EFI partition. So how would I delete or remove the partition without losing all my data.

easy..
By a Firewire External Harddrive.. Backup your stuff..
and do a reinstall..

This happened with a my friend (but on his PC). It actually rendered the external hard disk useless. Lucky he installed it to an external hard disk. Otherwise he wouldn't have been able to boot into XP (he had to remove the hard disk to do so).

The morel of the story is:

DON'T INSTALL VISTA!!!!

I accidently formatted my Windows partition (NTFS). Unfortunately, the Mac disk utility will not let me delete the partition. I would leave it alone, but stupid Vista installation screwed up.

I need to know how to reformat my hard drive (yes I'm aware I would lose all my data, fortunately, I burned it to a DVD-R ) back as OS X installation refuses to do it.

Boot camp takes it right off.

It was rather quick and easy too.
