URGENT QUESTION: would you pay more?

In germany the 5S 16GB costs 699€ at Apple. But uncertainly you can't get any from apple before mid october.
My local electronics store has three 5S 16GB spacegrey(unlocked), but they want 729€ for each.

Would you pay this?

I'd personally wait and save the 130 on other things. Just depends how desperate you are.

at such a small price discrepency, its just a matter of preference and bragging rights.

If the gap was larger I could see the need for forum feedback. But when are you are already spending 699, whats another 30?

You're paying a 4% premium to get it sooner. It's sort of like paying extra for expedited shipping. I usually just go with the cheapest shipping option, but if I really want something, I don't mind spending extra.

For the iPhone 5S, I am so happy with mine after having had my iPhone 4 for so long, that I do think this is one of those times it'd be worth it.

30 euros to cut a 3-week wait is a no-brainer.

Then again, 30 euros would probably get you a decent case.

yes, open it in the store. to check any scratches or scuff. you are buying a new phone.

Maybe Apple should be doing this anyway. Charge $100 premium for the first month, $50 for the second month and normal price thereafter. It would smooth out launches a bit, probably sell just as many phones in the first three months, and make more profit.
