I don't want to write a long story but basically I have accidentally completely trashed my entire documents folder. I removed it from the Trash and OSX showed the task as done, but then when I emptied the trash today my documents went with it.

I have bought Data Rovery II but the serial number they sent me does not activate the application and I cannot wait until Monday for a solution.

Does anyone know of another way to get my files back.... PLEASE HELP....PLEASE

i dont know how to do it, however, i would advise to stop using the computer that you have erased the files on. if it is to be retrieved the hard drive must not write over where the files were/are.

Turn your machine off. I mean OFF, NOW.
Every moment you leave the machine on and OSX manages its swap files, is a lesser chance you're going to be able to recover.

I don't know of a better way to recover than DataRescue II. Bite the bullet and wait until you have the serial.
