Mac Pro i downloaded the update and when i reebooted it just hangs there.

The circle goes on and on for 20 minutes.

How do I bypass the installation??

Mine took ages to boot. Did you unplug everything before installing the update? If you don't want to be shown the update again in Software Updater, then select it and press DELETE. :)

My PowerBook did this too. Eventually (25 mins) I lost patience and reset it manually. On second boot it came up fine, although obviously I did a Repair Permissions immediately to fix any damage I'd done with the reset.

I eventually got it working.

I booted with shift pressed during boot.

Cleaned all caches and it booted fine.

Apparently it installed the update because it doesnt show anymore.

Thanks guys!
