Urgent* What internal hard drive to buy

Hi,

My aluminum imac's internal hard drive just died on me, and I'm out of warranties. So I'm looking to replace my hard drive ASAP. Are there any suggestions on which internal hard drive to buy? I'm looking for something that's at least 1TB, for the best quality/price value.

Thanks for searching. There are about 100 other threads that answer your same question.

Furthermore, are you sure you want to do the install for a new hard drive by yourself? It's not for the faint of heart. The Alu iMac is a little better than the white intel imac, but you still need to remove the glass and the lcd to even get to the hard drive.
