.url files wont launch in Firefox - Only Safari Help!

I am having problems having .url files launch in Firefox instead of Safari. I have tried changing the default program from Safari to Firefox but every time the file launches in Firefox nothing loads and the screen just shakes. Sorry dont really know how to describe that better. Any one know how to fix this.

Here is the .url file opened in a text editor for reference

Aren't .url files Windows files?

OS X has .webloc files that aren't text files.

Is your question in relation to OS X or Windows?

In relation to OS X.

The original .url were transfered from Vista.

You have to recreate the urls in Firefox and re-save them. Pain in the butt, but only need to do once. You could also try importing them in windows into firefox and then exporting them back to the mac side.
