Hi All,

Apologies if this has been asked before - couldn't see any other related posts.

Planning to get an iPhone this week - on one of the standard O2 tariffs. But I'm going to the US next week - so my question is: could I buy a US iPhone (for $399/£200) and activate it on O2? Or would it only work with AT&T (without going through an unlock)? What if I inserted an O2 sim?

Thanks

Chris

Funny enough it might just work check this out. Although the phone was pre-unlocked but had a generic O2 sim in it
