US iPhone in the UK

I purchased an 5s earlier this and I am now moving to the UK. I have a few questions:

Has anyone been able to use 4g there with an unlocked US phone?
Apple's LTE page shows that the US phone will work on the correct 4g band, LTE Band 20 (800 DD), but it does not show that it will work on any UK carriers. Does anyone know why that is?

Obviously, the main point is, will an unlocked US-bought 5s work on UK 4g?

O2: 800Mhz
Voda: 800Mhz;2600Mhz

The only band the US iPhone doesn't support is 2600Mhz; so you'll only get LTE on half of Vodafone's network.

the LTE page doesn't show the UK carriers because that model is not marketed for sale in the UK. You need to manually match the LTE bands. For the record, the US version supports more LTE bands than any other worldwide version.
