US iTunes Store is displaying even though I'm in the UK

Hi guys,

I'm having a very peculiar problem with iTunes.
Every time I visit the iTunes store, it takes me directly to the American one.

I can't log in either because I get error code (-50) (Which, searching on google, hasn't helped me much at all)

I thought that maybe it was something to do with the University internet but all of my friends can access it and log in and buy stuff.

I'm so confused as to why I can't!

I've never been to America so it's not as if it's got itself stuck on American software or anything.

I don't understand at all!

Any help would be much appreciated!

When you change back to the UK one, does it let you continue on as normal? And does it still go back to the US one automatically after you've gone to the UK?

I can't switch to the UK one at all, when I try to log in, I get:

Unable to access the iTunes store, an unknown error has occurred (-50)

I tried to uninstall and reinstall iTunes last night but it's still doing the same thing
