Has anyone had a person under the age of 18 add the US Passport to Apple Wallet? My son did his and it was denied a few mins later and of course the error didn't give us much details as to why. I can't find anything that says it's 18+, so I am curious if anyone has been in this scenario and what the outcome was.

Does his present appearance match his passport photo?

Mostly, I mean his current one is a little older but not expired. He obviously has changed. But he has one of the five year kid ones, so I am wondering if that is the X factor. When I started the thread, I was trying to surface 18 yrs or older being the requirement.

He meant using the feature on an iPhone. Why’s this so confusing for people?

It’s one way to avoid a lawsuit.
Yeah I understood that. Not confusing at all. But sure, I guess tons of lawsuits will happen if minors use digital passports instead of physical ones. The lawyers are lined up.

It doesn’t matter at all

I've looked at Apple's requirements, at TSA's, articles about this feature that were posted last week (some of which contacted the TSA about this feature), and even Google's, which also supports this on Android devices, and none of them mention that you must be 18 years or older. So, yes, I wonder if its because a 5 year expiration passport, or perhaps because the appearance has changed so much.
