Long story short, my contract is up, will be having a 6s 64GB.

Friend of mine in the US is coming over 29th of this month. He rather innocently asked "Anything you want bringing over".

Current US price is $749 or £491 uk price is £619

So £128 saving.

Obviously warranty would be out of the question, and not 100% sure if I can register the device on my dev account although guessing that wouldn't be an issue.

Opinions?

why would warranty be out of he question? I thought u got a years warranty regardless of where it was purchased?

Unfortunately not. Apple's One year warranty only available on the continent you buy.
I wouldn't be so sure on that, my mate bought 2 apple watches (one for him and me) from the US, he went into apple store (UK) a few weeks ago, having a few issue's with his AW they replaced it straight away.

I'm sorry i didn't mention that only iPhone has this regulation. Because of the antenna's differences Apple does not support One year warranty on the another continent. But other devices has One Year Warranty.

it wont work on all the UK LTE bands, plus where is he going to find one in stock in the next 7 days?

I appreciate that the logistics could be troublesome, and I would only ask him to grab one if any stock were available.

Presumably the Sprint version will work with all Global LTE bands?
