US Topcase compatible with UK laptop?

Hi guys

I want to replace the topcase of my MBP and just wanted to confirm if a topcase from us with us layout keyboard is compatible with a uk layout laptop brought from uk?
ideally just the keyboard layout shouldn't be an issues but just to be sure that there isn't any difference in the Topcase itself.

I had a coffee spill incident. Few keys are not working on the keyboard but the MBP is working fine with external keyboard. So just want to change the topcase.
In a MBP unibody, Topcase is the aluminium part which has Keyboard and trackpad.

It'll be fine, just the keys will be US layout.
