Howdy! My parenting partner currently has a low end Samsung and I am officially fed up with their phone not working as well as being terrible at working with mine 😂 I am looking at buying them an iPhone 12 64GB through Walmart. The price is right. They are not an Apple user but they said they’re willing to begrudgingly switch to iPhone if I buy them one… although I know they’d love it after a day, and will appreciate FaceTime and the quality camera.

Nowadays, would a 64GB 12 be relatively functional? Given their current phone they’re obviously not a power user. I think all they really do is call, text, read articles, watch YouTube, and play a chess game. Should I shell out for 128gb?

iPhone 12 64gb. You have to pay money them?
If your partner likes their present phone don't pressure them into this one legged dinosaur.

iPhone 12 going strong here (but 128 mainly for photo storage). If extra memory not required I’m sure it will last comfortably for 2-3 years minimum, probably longer.

Yep depending on if your a heavy smartphone mobile device user or not. Not sure how long it will be doable to replace batteries for that series/model.
