I'm a little confused here, i took my phone off the charger about 40 minutes ago and I decided to go and check the usage statistics just to see how long it's been off the charge and how much usage time there was.

Now when I say I took my phone off the charger 40 minutes ago I mean that I took it off the charger and quite literally left it sitting on the desk and did not touch it once. The only thing that happened was I received one text message but I checked it from my iPad. So to my surprise, the usage time was at 27 minutes With the 40 minutes of standby time.

How can I possibly have 27 minutes of usage time when I haven't even use the phone? I think I'm experiencing terrible battery life because there seems to be some process or processes running in the background, disallowing the phone to just be in standby.

Is anybody else experiencing this at all, and if so how do I resolve it?

Yeah that's what I'm thinking but I don't know what could be running.
