I found a few of these roaming around on the internet and they really DON'T look legit. All of the reputable USB video adapters seem to only go up to 720p and these guys are claiming 1080p for nearly half the price. Most of the sites that offer them are doing some kind of direct from china crap where you have to request a price quote but I did find a couple of sites selling them for about $70. I don't know who makes it but they all look about the same and some say "viewtone II" on them. Here are some of the sites I found.

alibaba
Win-Star
Some other place

What do you guys think?

I just found what looks to be the exact same adapter at wal-mart so maybe I'll just buy it and check it out knowing I can easily return it if it's crap.

Suppose you buy one of those no-name adapters from China. What do you do if it doesn't work? Where is the support? What if it breaks? Warranty? Stick to legit products.
