Need some help. I purchased a usb hub so I can hook all of my usb devices to my mac mini.

Directions for the hub list it as OS X compatable, but goes on to say that you need a third party driver for usb 2.0?

Help please.....Where can I get a driver?

That doesn't make sense to me. I didn't think USB hubs ever needed a driver. They're just a hub, after all. I have a little USB 2 hub connected to my PowerBook and I didn't need to install a driver, and it definitely works fine at USB 2 speeds.

What brand is it?

I picked up a Belkin one at the Apple Store for my parent's Mac mini and it was all plug and play.

You certain that driver requirement wasn't targetted at Windows 9x? They're the only ones that should need a driver, and that's often mentioned.

Thanks for the info....After doing a bit of research, the comment about usb 2.0 was for windows users.

Hub is hooked up, and working just fine.

Thanks
