USB 3.0 enclosure for Apple SSD chips/blades

Even though I opted for the 256GB SSD configuration on my 2012 Air, I'm almost 100% certain that I'll go third party and buy an SSD upgrade at some point down the road.

My question is if anybody is manufacturing a USB 3.0 enclosure for the SSD chips that will be left over once I've upgraded my drive. That way I'll be able to use them to make a fast SSD external drive.

Has anybody seen one or know of anything in the pipeline?

I bought the 2012 11" air with only 128gb. Regretted it and bought the mercury aura pro 240gb from owc. Good news is they have a case for flash storage called envoy, the bad news is it's for 2011 model only. I chatted with the owc's customer service and unfortunately they have no ETA for the 2012 envoy. So my apple's flash storage is useless and kept in the cabinet for the time being.

You are right...my apologies. It is only for the 2010 and 2011 MBAs.
