I've seen USB 3 docking stations like the Toshiba DynaDock U3 mentioned in the forums before, but has anyone actually tried using one ith one of the new USB 3 Macs?

I'd be interested to know whether it really requires any drivers other than DisplayLink USB display drivers.

Anyone tried this?

Why bother with UDB3.0 docking?!!

Get ANY low cost eSATA with Port Multiplier
Connect to USB3.0 to eSATA adapter

Connect to eSATA cable... Whola all the drives show up

I can get 115MB/s per drive... Kicking the b utt of eSATA port :)

I'd personally go for this dock as it has a ladder

did none of you click the link in the original post? or read past the headline?

as the item he mentioned has USB ports, gigabit ethernet, HDMI, and audio line ins and outs. with nothing to do with drives except the fact that you could hook an external USB drive up to it.

and all the responses are drives only.

Right. I'm mainly thinking of this as something similar (though using USB 3) to the Thunderbolt docking stations that will be released this fall. Like Belkin's Thunderbolt Express Dock.
