I'm using a cheap but functional (works on PC) USB a/d converter - Behringer's UCG102 and keep getting some sort of interference or distortion when recording to my Mac.
Like I said it works perfectly on my PC, but not on my Mac, even though it states "Works directly with your PC or Mac computer". The converter came with an ASIO driver for PC, but nothing for Mac, do I need a sys pref pane? or is there something that may 'help' this converter out?
It lists Audacity as a compatible program, but whenever I record into it, the first few seconds of audio are fine, then comes the distorted broken audio.
Does the same thing in Garageband.
Has anyone gotten this (UCG102) to work?
Thanks in advance, I'm sick of booting into XP just to record little ideas, it's horrible for creative flow.
