USB-A to Lightning Adapter

Does anyone have any recommendations for a usb-a to lightning adapter? I know Apple has one, but I really don’t want to spend $29 on an adapter. All of the non-Apple ones on Amazon have mixed reviews though. I just want to be able to connect my DAC to my iPhone and iPad.
