According to this thread it's not possible to daisy chain:
Computer <---USB---> Drive A <---FireWire---> Drive B
Is it possible to do the opposite?
Computer <---FireWire---> Drive A <---USB---> Drive B
I imagine it's not but I could not find a definite answer anywhere, and I was hoping to but a cheaper USB drive as a second backup where speed is not essential. And if it's not possible to daisy chain the two drives, is it possible to connect both to a MacBook and transfer data from one to the other through the computer. Thanks for any advice.
