I am running Windows 10 in bootcamp on a 2012 rMBP with 5.1 bootcamp drivers installed. It fails with an Iomega external USB 3 drive that connects through UAS.
Reading works, formatting and deleting fail requiring a hard power down while writing will crash the whole system after about 1GB has been written. I'm using FAT32 for these tests.
Has anyone got UAS to work in any version of Windows? What drivers do you use? As far as I can see Bootcamp doesn't supply UAS drivers at all so the ones I'm using are standard MS/Intel.
I'd be really interested if anyone can run UAS external USB 3 drives and if so what drivers you have. If it does work for you could you let me know what drivers you have (Right click on drive, Properties, Hardware tab, Properties, Driver tab, Driver Details). I have these currently:
