Hey,
Just upgraded my monitor to an LG 4K UltraFine from an old Dell, the Dell used to have an audio out so I had my speakers plugged into that, however with the LG you have to use USB.
I've noticed that when using USB audio, via an Apple USB-C to 3.5mm I get a weird 'crackling' or 'pop' sound when the audio is paused or inactive for a few seconds, it's not a loud noise but enough to hear it - weirdly I also get the same thing from the built-in speakers on the LG as well...
I've tried plugging the dongle directly into my MacBook and get the same issue, I've also tried a different brand of dongle and get the same noise.
Does anyone know if there are still USB Audio issues in Mojave?
Thanks
