Thank you very much for taking the time do to that for me.

I am running into problem. I have freshly installed Mavericks and now created a bootable USB drive to install Windows 7 but every time the computer restarts to install Windows 7, I get the following error "No booteable device -- insert boot disk and press any key"

For whatever reason, the system is not recognizing it.. is there a tutorial out there to make sure that I am doing it correctly?

Thank you!

Does the Mac you're installing Windows 7 on have an optical drive? If it does, you can not use a bootable USB drive to do the installation. There are work arounds though. Do a search of the forums.

Thank you for your reply. Yes, the Mac has an optical drive. I have pretty much tried everything you can think of and I still cannot get this to work.

Could you please provide me with some links you have know to get this working?

Thanks!
