Hi,

I have a 2016 baseline 13" MBP on order and am now deciding what adapter will work best for me.

What adapters can simultaneously run two external HDD (without their own power supply)? Reviews i've read don't seem to point to anything concrete. A YouTube reviewer mentioned a single USB C port can only output 5W max?

Having two HDD plugged in is a priority for me - I currently have a WD 2TB and 1TB hooked up to my 2014 rMBP.

Having a multipart adapter with an SD card reader and HDMI would be a plus.

I've currently seen the options from Satechi and HooToo which seem to be the most reliable but still don't have any confirmation they will meet my needs. Still waiting on them to get back to me since the customer service reps I spoke to earlier were not sure and going to look into it.
