Hello Everyone - Is there any limitation on which USB cables I should be using for a Macbook Pro 13" for charging? I'm concerned they are different ratings for phones versus the computer.

Thanks

You need to use ones that support Power Delivery (PD) of at least 60w. Some cheaper cables for phones only support eg 15w so you do need to check.

Your MBP charger can deliver 61w, but if the cable limits it to 60w you wont notice any practical difference.

The cable contains a component that lets the charger and the MBP know the max wattage it supports; so using a lower wattage cable won't blow anything up but will limit the wattage delivered to the MBP.

The Apple USB-C charger cable supports up to 100w; it will work with all USBC MBA /MBPs including the 16"MBP.
