Hi there,

I'm looking to use a USB-C dock for my late MBP 2016 but every dock I tried, the HDMI output quality is quite bad, pixelated, the text looks horrible.

The same cable used to connect my HDMI desktop to HDMI monitor works perfectly.
My monitor is a Philips 272P, it's a 1440P monitor.

I'm currently using a USB-C to DisplayPort adapter and works fine, but I am wondering if this is normal or I am just unlucky with dongles?

I've also tried turning off overscan in the monitor but no change.
It would be great to be able to use just one dongle for everything, not sure what's wrong with the HDMI!

Thanks.

Apologies!
