Hi All,

I'm looking for a USB-C hub to go with my LG UK850 display.

Can any passthrough power and display from a MBP to the hub to the LG with just one connection?

E.g. MBP - 1x USB-C - LG Monitor

The Monitor then supplies the hub with power, and displays the MBP's picture.

Ideally looking for one that has Gigabit ethernet.

The intention is to keep the convenience of the LG monitor (1 cable supply power and displaying picture of MBP via USB-C), with the addition of some traditional ports including Gigabit Ethernet.

Is this possible? I don't want to have to power a hub or have multiple connections to the MBP.

I don't think this is possible, maybe via a thunderbolt hub? But certainly not via a usb hub, the display uses usb alternate mode which can't be passed through a usb hub to my knowledge.
