the magsafe is for the power adapter only; there's no reason to expect other functionality from the magsafe port on a macbook. plus, magsafe is an apple proprietary design, & i don't think anyone else has a license to produce magsafe adapters.....

I know the functionality of the MagSafe port; I only asked because some of the available USB-C hubs insert into the two USB-C ports and cover the MagSafe port.

Presumably, OP wants a USB-C hub that they can plug MagSafe into, which would transfer to the MagSafe on the MBP, enabling the higher charging and not using up any of the thunderbolt lanes (unsure power delivery takes up data lanes in any way, so this could be a stretch).
The point of USB-C and in particular, a USB-C hub/dock is to reduce multiple cables into a single one that provides power and data. MagSafe goes backwards in technology and doesn't offer any benefit over USB-C except for charging in excess of 100W.
