Just thinking out loud Sitting here w/ a basic lighting cable that's been sticking out of the back of my iMac for years that I plug into my iPhone to charge or sync. It's in use, plugged to my my Pro, syncing to my library of crap.

Wondering if that new USB-C/Lightning cable that came with my Pro, will sync my library of songs and books faster because it's, well, USB-C

The usb-c cable is substantially faster. I synced up almost 20,000 songs earlier today. This usually takes about 7-8 hours. Using the USB-C cable it took 1 hour and 13 minutes.
