Anyone found USB-C QI 3.0 Wireless Charger? Is there a true difference between USB-C vs. USB? Pros vs. Cons?

Correct me if I’m wrong someone..
Apparently as of now the 8’s can only take a 5W rate of charge wirelessly - that’ll be upped to 7.5W in a future software release.
So, I’m not sure if having different wired technology to a wireless charging pad rated for at least 5W is going to matter anyway. It’ll max out regardless on the phone end.
Where you may benefit from the technologies you’ve mentioned would be on a wired charge - and that’s where I tap out, lol.
There are so many threads on what products are trustworthy or not - Apple vs third party - and what specs they need to have to “fast charge”. We need a definitive sticky thread on it.
