So I just received the new iiyama 5k Monitor for my iMac and connected it with my USB-C to Displayport 4k at 60 Herz. The highest resolution I can get is 3840x2160 (shouldn't it be more already?).

Anyhow, thought I might need to use both Displayports and called their support. The guy told me though, that one DP will be enough, but it should be 1.4 or 1.3. Checked Amazon and google but couldn't find anything. Are those cables out there or is there a workaround for it?

As for the monitor, when it turned on, I actually thought it's 5k already, it is very bright, sharp and way ahead of the Dell U2718Q. It also fits very well on my desk as it is pretty much a copy of the iMac. The Dell looked a little bit lost and so would the LG 5k I would assume, given its very slim design.
