USB-C to Lighthning adapter volume issue

I've bought lately Anker USB-C to Lighthning adapter,as far as I know the best available adapter at the moment (Apple certified).When I connect my headphones to my Imac via USB-C,sound is very clean,but volume level is really low compered with 3,5 jack.
Possible solution,anybody?

I also have one, but volume levels seem to be fine when connected to my iPad Pro. I briefly tried it on my Microsoft Surface Book 2 to verify it worked (handy to use Lightning earpods on my PC), but didn’t notice that sounds levels were low. I’ll try it again and report back if volume seems problematic.
