Usb c to lightning cable 2 meters

Had to get a rent a car yesterday and forgot to take my usb c to lighting cable out of my truck. Ordered a new one from Apple for curb side pick up.

Picked it up and opened it and it feels so much more durable? Quality is better? I don’t know the right words but it doesn’t feel like Apple old crappy cables. Feels more premium.

Has Apple changed their recipe for cables?

You won’t be able to tell from the picture. It just has a different feel and quality.

I believed it is true that the 2m cable is better than 1m cable, mobile review eh did a review before and have mentioned the differences.
