usb-c to minidisplay port adapter?

The apple Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt 2 won't work with my LG 31MU91C display. I don't really want to lose any resolution by going to and HDMI cable. Has anyone else run in to this issue? What adapter have you found that works?
