Hi,

I'm proud owner of a (way to expensive) Pro display XDR of Apple and a Bose Companion 5 speakerset. The Bose companion is plugged into my pro display XDR with a faulty USB-C to USB adapter. It looses connectivity often and I need to replug my screen to my MacBook to get my sound back. The adapter itself is really loose plugged into the screen and the USB of the Bose as well. Maybe that's what you get when buying a cheap adapter in a overpriced screen 😅.

So.. I'm looking for a decent USB-C to USB adapter that snaps into the screen and isn't to loose. Does anyone can recommend a 'snappy' adapter?

Thanks in advance,

I assume you mean a USB-C to USB-A adapter. If you want to you can forego an adapter entirely and just use a USB-C to USB-B cable to directly connect the display to the speakers without any adapter. Here’s an example of one:

Brilliant. I didn't think of this solution. Thanks!
