Late last year, I got a 2016 MacBook Pro for work. I already had a 2015 12" MacBook. I've pretty much gone over to USB-C now. I've purchased new cables so I don't need to use an adapter on my MBP. But with only one port on the MacBook, it would be nice to be able to connect more than one or two USB-C devices.

So I'm looking for a USB-C hub, but I don't want USB-A connections. I want a hub that plugs into one USB-C port and gives me like three or four with pass-through charging. Anyone know of anything like that, or am I too early to the party still?

There are USB-C hubs that will give you one additional USB-C port, i.e. total of two. Plus some legacy ports. I have one from Elecom. I don't know of any USB-C hubs that will give you 3 or 4.
