Hi all. I’m just trying to not use as much adapters as much as possible and therefore can anyone recommend a wired usb-c mouse?

Also, preferably I’m looking for a mouse that’s not too bulky.

Again, not wireless. But a wired usb-c would be great.

Been searching but there’s not much out there on the market.

I doubt much will be wired and usb c, it's a very minor niche. Technically the logitech wireless's that charge by usb c I believe do work wiredly when plugged in.. but probably not quite what looking for.

Any particular reason for wanting to avoid wireless, anyway?

Well, I ordered this.

Satechi C1 USB-C Wired

I don’t really care if it’s the cheap kind, but wireless to me personally, it’s just not preferable.

Especially the Magic Mouse where you need to charge it from the bottom of the mouse. I mean the people from Apple who came up with that idea needs to be fired…

I agree, I still use the wired USB or bluetooth wireless Apple Mighty Mouse. Best design ever.

I liked the wired mice but they had a problem with the little ball bringing dirt inside. Due to bluetooth problems with the current mice, I've used a couple of the wired Might Mouse until fairly recently, but the constant cleaning needed to keep them working finally lead me to switch to non-bluetooth wireless mice

I always felt like I had to hold those things from my fingertips, and having no place to rest my palm gave me bad cramps. On the other hand (cramp), at least it's not as bad as the flat Magic Mouse.

When I got my 2020 iMac that came with a magic mouse, it was definitely a "what were they thinking" moment for me too. And that wasn't the worse thing -- it doesn't fit my hand at all. I haven't charged it up once yet...

I prefer wired mice as well, but I don't mind adapters.

OP:

If you find a wired mouse you like that has a USBa plug, just use one of these:

Cheap and easy.

Just received the Satechi C1 USB-C Wired mouse and so far so good. I would recommend this to anyone else looking for a usb-c wired mouse.

At least now I don’t need any more adapters. I’m free of adapters 👍👍🎉🎉🎉

do you still use this mouse?
does the light on yours stay blinking?
when you shut down your computer and restart it, do you have to set the dpi on the mouse to your preferred setting? the default is blue, I like it on green but it defaults to blue when I shut down the Mac and restart it
