USB camera final cut pro?

Hey every! I just got my professional panasonic flash memory based camcorder. I was wondering if it is possible to import the footage shot on the SD card into the camera, into final cut pro using USB? Imovie 08 can do it, so can Final cut?

yes, through the log and transfer window... the footage is then transcoded to AIC or ProRes.
