USB Camera for iChat

Hi,

Since switching to a Macpro i've been unable to do any video chatting due to Apple stopping the iSight.

Well now iChat supports USB cameras, will this one work?

I use the Microsoft Xbox Live vision camera. Its $40 here in the states. Works great, I've used it to video conference with a friend of mine a couple times. Doesn't even need drivers.

Does the xBox camera have a microphone? It looks like it just has the headset, but maybe I'm mistaken.

No microphone in the camera, you'd need something seperate for that. Personally I use a plantronics usb headset which works great.

Hmm. Is there a recommended USB cam that has a built in mic?

I got the logitech communicate stx (it has a built in mic) working, but it did require some fiddling. I do finally have it working perfectly in ichat and skype though.
