I have the issue where my USB card reader is not always seen by the Mac. I am using 10.8.4.
What seems to happen is that after a fresh reboot, all is good. The card reader shows up. I can access it, etc..
However, after using the Mac for a few days, and then plugging in the card reader, nothing happens until a fresh reboot.
Is there any way to issue a shell command or something to fix this without Windows-like rebooting to fix problems like this?
