I got my iphone 2 weeks ago and I love it. But I have noticed that every time I connect my phone to the usb cable and take it out it leaves some very deep small scratches. Do you guys also have these? I have attached some pics so you guys can see what I mean.

Btw I have a white iphone 4.

These scratches are very normal. All iPhones, iPods, and iPads have them.

This is true. It's the way the 30 pin is designed that causes it. I was worried about it on my iPad at first, but then realized the only way to not scratch it is to not ever sync.

I can't help it because I sync music all the time lol.

Sounds like you'll REALLY benefit from the WiFI Sync this fall with iOS5 :)

Well the scratches are already there and I don't see them getting any worse but I am pretty excited about the WiFi sync :D

Alot of people including myself have worse. If I were you, I'd worry more about the phone's screen and back itself than something you can barely see..

Ok, so no one else is gonna say it?

I gotta be the one to come in here and say "this thread is a joke, right?"

Ok. There. You made me say it. Thanks a lot.

I think it's the way the new USB cords are designed. The old ones used to have the little buttons on each side that you press in to be able to remove the cord and it came out gently, but the new ones you just sorta have to yank out. :(

Yeah I know! I remember the old ones that came with the ipods and were much more gentle. I really don't know why they stopped making them like that.
