If you have a Vehicle, with a USB iPod port and an AUX mini plug port, AND currently have a USB 5V powered Bluetooth Adapter plugged in, you're in LUCK!! This is what you want/NEED! Basically you plug this into your USB port in your car, now it says it's a HUB but it's not really a HUB per se. My car with an ordinary USB 2.0 splitter/hub would not recognize the iPhone. But with this "splitter" because it's power only I was able to plug the iPhone into the DATA end and plug the BT car adapter into POWER ONLY cable then this into the car. The car didn't complain and started indexing the iPhone, and then the Bluetooth was working powered! SO, if you want to take your old iPhone 6(s) 64/128GB iPhone and re-purpose it as a car-iPod-Hard-Drive and keep your Bluetooth for your NEW iPhone 8/Pro or whatever, THIS WORKS!!!
