Well, upon plugging in my iPhone to my laptop, it instantly pops up on iTunes and the like. But, with the (obviously) different USB cord with my iPod Touch into the same laptop, nothing is recognized; nothing pops up on iTunes; and a message appears saying, "The USB Device plugged into Windows was not recognized."

What should I do? The iPod Touch has had many problems lately, such as the "white apple load-up screen" NEVER leaving (I'm talking a week), and it constantly being hot. I assumed it was a problem with the buggy 2.0 firmware recently installed (mind you, no problems occurred before 2.0) but I'm even unable to install 2.0.1 onto it due to the fact it won't be recognized.

I'm really not sure what I should do. Should I call Apple (HOW?!)? Should I buy a new iPod Touch USB Cord (if so, where?)?

Ideas? Opinions? Anything.

Many thanks.
