Spec: Macbook Pro 15" Retina 16GB Intel Core i7 Mid-2012 (OS Maverick)

Hi, to begin with...the problems started as follows:

1. Nothing wrong with my MacBook, I try to install Windows Vista Ultimate on Parallel Desktop 9 via SuperDrive. Seems that the Windows Install Disk was scratched and the installation cannot completed nor proceed even after letting it over more than 1 hour.

2. The disk won't eject even after I try hardly via Finder. So, I pulled out the SuperDrive. Try to re-install but to no avail and the process can't be completed. I pulled out the the SuperDrive to stop the failing installation.

3. Soon after, I noticed a small notification windows located at the top-right screen appeared saying "USB Devices Disabled - Unplug the device using too much power to re-enable USB devices". But...nothing connected to both USB ports on my MacBook.

4. Resetting PRAM, NVRAM, SMC did nothing to get rid the message. Worse, both the USB ports cannot detect anything plugged on it (even so from Apple menu, Disk Utility whatsoever). Sometimes, the left side USB port recognizes devices but only after rebooting. Sometimes the left-side port works well but the right port can detect anything.

5. On any occasions described above, devices connected to both ports are all powered (as indicated by lamp indicator e.g in external harddisk).

6. I tried to make a clean install of OS Maverick and the messages still there and both USB ports still problematic.

7. Tried to dried up the battery until 0%, recharged and still the same problem exist.

8. Running extending test via Apple Hardware Test by pressing D during startup reported that "no trouble found".

9. I just try to re-install my MBP to previous Mountain Lion OS backup on Time Machine dated back in August 2012. The problem still the same!! Right side USB port cannot detect anything.

10. While still on Maverick I booted on Safe Mode and from Disk Utility no devices detected though I plugged in the USB pendrive inside the right port. Left side port seems to be OK.

Is this sign of faulty I/O board? The SD card port is working though. I read so many same problems on the net but nothing came to concrete conclusion.

Would it be the LogicBoard/hardware problem?

Really need help and appreciate your kind assistance.

TQ.
