for some reason-none of my usb devices will work on my mac pro all of a sudden. I tried a usb mouse-nothing. I tried plugging my ipod into it and nothing. The connect and disconnect sounds appear but nothing appears. All devices work on OS X of couse. I tried to place the leopard dvd in but it did not auto play.
Note that this is the first time this has happened since I installed leopard. I have booted into it several times and had no problems
any ideas ?
EDIT 2-after i removed all devices connected to it everything worked-the only things that i unplugged were the usb cable for my monitor a a firewire cable for my external HD.
can someone tell me what they think happened-i have never had to do this before and i want to know what is wrong
