USB Disconnects in Windows 10

I'm running Windows 10 under BootCamp on a 2013 MBA. I have a Transcend JetDrive 256 that disconnects every time I close the cover. It is getting frustrating to have to reboot every time to get access to the drive. Is there anyway to correct this behavior?
